->> Is there a way do get photo mechanic to open a contact sheet of all photos in a folder INCLUDING the subfolders? I'm sure there's a way, but I'm not having much luck.
Thanks

->> Brad: The short answer is no. However, it's a little easier to navigate through subfolders if you use the navigator (it's under the view menu). If you use the ingest disk function, it's got an option to get rid of all the stupid subfolders and put all your images in one directory (or even two different directories so you can do an instant backup).
Ryan: You should already be able to preview .PSDs. I'm guessing this probably requires having a QuickTime extension installed, so go to http://www.apple.com/quicktime and make sure you have the most current version for your platform. I've been using Photo Mechanic to go through several thousand .PSD files in the past few days, so I know it can be done. :-) |

| ->> And the lead programmer also lurks here, though he's not a member. He has an uncanny tendency to e-mail people within five minutes of starting any thread with Photo Mechanic in the title (hi Kirk!). lol |

->> Kirk is awesome!
Kirk, if you are here, please email me. I recently received the CD of Photo Mechanic 4 that states it is good thru December 2004. How do I purchase it so it will still work after the end of the month? I have emailed sales@camerabits a few times with no response and I want to make sure it doesn't turn into a pumpkin at midnight on New Year's Eve.

->> Whew! Good news. My version of photo Mechanic WON'T turn into a pumpkin on New years eve. Kirk emailed me telling me that my version is good indefinitely, but I won't qualify for any free upgrades after Dec. 31. Sooooo, if anyone else has the same version, upgrades are only good for a few more weeks, after that you have to pay.
Good thing because my desktop has to go back for the THIRD time. OY! Now my scanner is not beign recognized.

->> Debbie: Your license is good for one year of updates from the time you purchased the license, so other users won't necessarily have the same expiration date as you. I had to renew in October.
