->> We just got new macs at work and the latest PM. Once you have selected a photo and have open it in PM where is the button or the way to send the image in PS ?

->> From the regular contact sheet, select any photo(s) and press Apple (command) + e, or if you are viewing images in the preview window, click on the icon that says "edit" in the menu bar above the window.

->> Don't forget you have to manually choose your image editor before you can use the edit button.
