Is there a way to synchronize the clocks in two cameras? I use Photo Mechanic and sort the photos by capture time but often the images will get mixed.
Does anyone know of a computer software to set the time on two cameras so it matches perfectly so photos taken seconds appart on two cameras will line up perfectly?
I use the Canon 1D and 1D Mark II. |

| ->> This is what I do, use the canon software and connect the camera to your computer. There is an option in the camera settings -> date time tab that says "sync with computer" hit this button and the first camera will have the same time to the second as your computer, then do the same with the other camera and presto, both match to the second. |

->> Craig, Darren, do you know of a way to imbed caption information into the camera? Maybe I'm wishing and stretching into the next generation of cameras but I think it would be handy to have a lot of the caption info already connected to my files and in file info when i get them onto the computer.

| ->> Craig - I swear I've done this properly - a few times - with several different bodies. But it seems that they still don't get perfectly synchronized. Has anyone else had this problem? Gary |
