| ->> I just installed photoshop CS, and am looking for a way to improve the viewing resolution of the file browser preview window. The thumbnails are fine, but the larger preview image is very pixilated(not sharp), I've looked into the preference settings, but can't find any way to change it. Hopefully eventually I can pony up the cash to get photo mechanic, but until then this browser will suffice. I'm using mac OS X. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

| ->> Thanks Mark, I looked at that and it was already checked, so I guess that wasn't the problem, must be something else.... |

I use Photo Mechanic but to see if I could help you out, I looked at a folder of images using the Photoshop CS browser. I had "High Quality Previews " selected as Mark suggested and get just that - a high quality preview. I even opened the preview window allowing for an 8 inch wide preview and the image is sharp and not at all pixelated.
I'm using OSX 10.3.5 with Photoshop CS 8.0.
Wish I could help but I'm as puzzled as you. |
