Photo Mechanic 4.2 with Mark 2 Raw Files

Are you using Photoshop CS? If so it should open right up. If you have an earlier version of PS, you need the Camera Raw Plug-In (if my memory serves me correct). |

| ->> PM 4.2 works fine for me for viewing/browsing Mk2 Raw CR2 files BUT it has to be set in the preferences with the program to be used for opening raw files; for me that's DPP but Photoshop CS will also open them with the latest Camera Raw plugin. |

I use PM to edit my Mark II Raw files without a problem, you might want to go into the preferences of PM and empty your cache. I know in the past this has solved different problems that I had. If that doens't work, you should give Bob a call at Camerabits, he is a great guy and more than likely will have the solution for your problem in a matter of minutes.

| ->> Thanks to all for your responses. I actually had a gentleman respond from Adobe who saw my post. He had run into the same problem. It is rectified by installing Quick Time program. I installed it and Photo Mechanic works great. |
