| ->> Whatever in the world is there to do in Cleveland? I gotta spend 24 hours there next week, so I'd like to see or do something.... you got any lakes nearby? Are there any restaurants? Do you have hotels? How about knowledgeable assistants who know how to load an RZ? Just WHERE IS CLEVELAND ANYWAY? |

->> Guess the Rock and Roll HOF is not in your sites, or the waterfront, or an Indians games or the NFL HOF in Canton?
Gloucester is what? Should be in the UK someplace? Oh yea, it is a tube station in London!!! |

Heck, maybe I should visit sometime! |

->> Oh man, get ready, CLEVELAND ROCKS!
Thinks to do?!?!?!
Start with The Flats just down the hill from the Hard Rock Cafe. Long strip of bars down by the river. Take your camera, lots o' neon, and bachelor/bachelorette parties galore.
Check the Indians schedule. May be able to catch a game.
Gund Arena. Always a great concert going on there.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Never been, but looks cool from the road. |

| ->> Cleveland is on the shores of Lake Erie. Cleveland has a lot going on with sports, night clubs, concerts, air shows, The Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland Museum of Art (awesome exhibits), history museums, etc. It really depends on where you will be staying and when. Check out www.cleveland.com or City Search to find out what is going on when you are in town. There are many great restaurants for sea food, Thai, Italian, you name it and we’ve got it. |

Dodd Camera - Pro Shop - is the best in the area.
http://www.doddcamera.com/locations.htm
I think they are only open until 5 or 6 p.m.
Give me a ring or post more here if you need more info ...
And, John, are you sure it's not 50+ years? |

->> I'm in Cleveland!!!! Need I say more?
There are a ton of cool things to do, depends on the person. We have a small lake near by, called Erie. My buddy has a boat we go out on once in a while, so that makes for a nice time. I'll email you for more information.
Oh, Cedar Point is about two hours northwest, and Six Flags is now Geauga Lake, but makes for a good time.

->> For assistant try John Bashian (216) 431-2848 (home) or (216) 973-2396 (Cell). I don't know if he is assisting anymore, but he has in the past, and could likely point you in the right direction if he can't.
David - I didn't know I looked that old! I was carded once when I was 35! (OK, that was 10 years ago.) I actually no longer have a birthday, as my niece was born on my 40th birthday and I thought a little girl shouldn't have to share her birthday, so I'm just staying 40 forever! |

| ->> Lake Erie hasn't caught fire in a long time, so Cleveland might be a cool place to be. It's ok, I was born there and used to enjoy going there to see Grandpa. We used to go to the valley and have weenie roasts and drive over slump bridges. A free image of Drew Carey to the frist person who can tell me what a slump bridge is. |

| ->> If you love BEER, (and i mean good beer) you need to find the "Great Lakes Brewery." It's an amazing little brewery with fantastic, award-winning beers and good food. I believe its on West 25th St. but verify that if you can find it online somehow. Also, great shopping downtown with the Tower City Plaza and the Galleria if you want to spend money. If you have a lot of time, Cedar Point amusement park is an hour or two West in Sandusky. If you head east of Cleveland into Lake and Ashtabula counties, you'll find some wineries (maybe 3-5 different). You can sample some decent Ohio Wines. Jacobs Field is new and great for an Indians game. And, of course, Lake Erie if you want to do some fishing on a charter. Walley is good eats. PS, I'll be there all next week so if you need an assistant, I'll be glad to help you out, although I have never loaded an RZ. Always seem to end up with Hassy. But if you let me know ahead of time, I'll get my hands on one and learn. I've also got a mountain of lighting equip if you need. |

->> This is all good information I should have asked for before I went to Cleveland this past winter. I had a rental car and did some driving around and found it pretty dry downtown. I ate at the Hard Rock which wasn't too bad and they had an awesome U2 cover band playing. Dodd's is an very well stocked camera store and has helpful staff.
The people were nice at all the stores/restaurants I was at, but I didn't have any local contacts there. Met an AP shooter there, Ron Shwane, who kept me entertained while we were shooting.
Clint, I wish I knew about the brewery. I was dying for a good pint!
24 hours shouldn't be too hard to kill in Cleveland. Have fun!

->> If you'd consider venturing outside the fine city of Cleveland, not too far away is Chagrin Falls which includes a neat B&B, sophisticated restaurants, good shopping, a little falls (thomas witte probably knows the mathematical formula which describes something smaller than little) but yep, cute, and the forever-popular you-went-there-when-you-were-eight-and-every-year-you-could-thereafter popcorn shop next to the falls.

->> Larry ... if you grew up in the Cleveland area, you should know that Lake Erie didn't catch fire - it was the Cuyahoga River - and it has caught fire on more than one occasion. The most famous was in 1969.
The area along the river is now the home of a great entertainment/eatery area called The Flats. |

| ->> Jason, My wife and I did a road trip there two summers ago. For a short stay: Rock HOF and Football HOF (canton) can be done in one day. Hard Rock Cafe is good there, and the R-n-R HOF has coupons for free food! Yes, I wore one of my Steelers hat that day, as I did in Dallas as well. |
