|
Quick Overview |
The AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II Lens offers excellent performance throughout its range of focal lengths, from the natural rendering characteristics of mid-range telephoto positions to the compressed perspective of telephoto positions. The lens makes the most of a wide variety of scenes, from portraits to staged events as well as sports photography under nighttime lighting, press photography, and scenes that require soft rendering of out-of-focus portions

[04/23/12] Best 70-200mm on the market. Even fares well with the 1.4x converter. Most definitely worth the upgrade. |

[07/25/11] I've had this lens for about a year and all I can say is wow. I have a lot of glass and this is one of the sharpest if not the sharpest I own. Get's used a lot and is a spectacular piece of equipment. |

[07/03/11] Sharp as a tack, built like a tank, and wicked fast focus. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. It just works, the VR, the focus, everything. Awesome lens. |

[05/26/11] The cadillac of Nikon's 70-200 fleet. VR is improved, as is vignetting on FX. Sharp as a tack, and AF is fast. I prefer the build of this version over the previous, due to having larger hands.
Also of note, the hood's petals are all rounded, unlike the V1, which means the lens cannot be rested on the ground hood-down. |
