[11/03/05] Top grade film camera. I don't use mine very much any more (guess why), however everything about it says *superior*. |

[05/26/04] The ULTIMATE sports camera for fim shooters. If you shoot film and are using anything else you need to try one of these.. You will be selling your current gear and scambling for the first one you can get you hands on! |

[05/29/03] Absolutely the best camera. I shoot with it from time to time and it is the camera that I choose when shooting sports the "old fashioned" way. However, digital spoiled me and I haven't shot with it... much. I would give it a 12 if I could. So 10 will have to do I guess. |

[04/29/03] This camera was the major reason I switched from Nikon. Absolutely superior in every facet. |

[09/16/02] I am a big fan on the EOS 1V. I have been using this camera daily for the last several years and have been very happy with it, accept when the shutter malfunctioned and ruined a days worth of chromes from Safeco Field (for more on the shutter problems see Al Tieleman's story in the Sports Shooter archives).
My only other problem with this camera is that sometimes I shoot too many frames with the fast motor drive and run out of film before the best picture happens. That's a user problem- not a camera problem.
If you are serious about shooting film and like Canon, then you need this camera. |

[06/22/02] The 1v is an excellent camera. If you use Canon you need one of these cameras. (Assuming you shoot film.) |

[06/22/02] The 1V HS is the absolute best camera I have ever gotten my hands on. If you were shooting sports on film, why would you want to use anything else? |
