Comments | [01/26/09] During a recent basketball game I noticed David's dual camera set up and I assumed he was stitching the edges of his images together. After I heard another photographer mention David was shooting in 3-D I approached him to learn more, and he signed and gave me his book! I just finished David’s book cover to cover and I have to say it is amazing. Some of the images look like they stand six inches off the page. The image titled "Power Steering," depicting a cowboy with his heels sliding through mud spraying it everywhere while twisting a steer to the ground is awesome; it looks like there is five gallons of muddy water standing off the page... Thanks again David for the tour, and the book!

Comments | [12/03/08] I just don't get it... :^) Good book, one of the shots was taken with my D3. Caught up with Dave a few weeks before the release and saw his copy. Dave's been doing 3-D work for a long time, I know there are other projects in the works.

Comments | [11/13/08] I got to see an advance copy of this when I assisted Dave a few months ago, and it is simply amazing! I hope to get my hands on a copy sometime soon...

Comments | [10/29/08] This book is great...the title doesn't disappoint. Because the book is from the SI For Kids brand, don't expect it to have any of his images from the swimsuit issues though. Some of the best spreads are from sports that you don't see photographed a lot, like rock climbing. For the price, you cannot find a better deal on a book that shows you a much different way of seeing how you make images, even though most of us are only doing it in two dimensions. My only complaint would be that it only came with one pair of glasses.
