[10/10/02] This book is a classic! Where else can you see the early work of the legendary Godfather of baseball photography Mickey Palmer? This book is full of classic images, highlighted by the big-time wrestling Mickey shot in the 1970's. Veteran sportswrite Lou Sahadi writes the text, as Mickey himself claims that he isn't a very good writer. Pick this one up if you wanna see how the legends did it before autofocus and fast lenses. My autographed copy holds a proud place in my bookshelf. |
