June, 2003 [ recent winners ] << previous next >> Second Place: "pool fun" Andy Rogers/The (Colorado Springs) Gazette | Hot, sunny weather had Anna Niebuhr, 13, and other kids smiling at the Valley Swim Club pool in Colorado Springs June 30, 2003. Niebuhr says she visits the pool about four times a week during the summer, and likes going because of all the people she gets to see. On hot days, lifeguards there say there are between 60 and 70 people in the water at a time.
