Kellwood's Elgin Beyette has one of his horses fall, during the chuck wagon races at the 125th annual _____ Agricultural Fair and Exhibition in _____ on Saturday June 23, 2007. The horse, a 14-year-old gelding named Alley Cat, recovered, finished the race, and was uninjured. "It's the closest I've ever come to having a horse go down," Beyette said after the race. "He was laying flat out on it and his legs were all out and it pulled the lines out of my hand", said Beyette, still stunned by the near accident. Copyright: Brandon Sun |
