Though Alyssa admitted to not liking the birds, her mother, Rea, said she brought the family and dog, Sadie, to the shore as an escape. "It is such a beautiful day, nice and sunny, no clouds, or fog; she was bored and all her friends are on vacation, so we came to the beach," Rea said.
