Second Place: "Big splash"
Mike Dean/Gloucester Daily Times | Members of the Gloucester (MA) High School track team get caught in a wave coming over the railing on Stacy Boulevard Wednesday January 18, 2006 . High winds in the area caused wild conditions like this across Cape Ann. Winds were recorded as high as 80 miles per hour in the Boston area. The wind caused some power outages with as many as 10,000 people on the North Shore without power at some point in the afternoon. Copyright: Mike Dean / Gloucester Daily Times
