| Cary Edmondson/Selma Enterprise/ Hanford Sent | With a population of just under 2,000, residents of Easton were not used to seeing snipers on housetops. Here, a man briefly peeks out his window as snipers position themselves atop his house during a hostage situation. Eventually the man holding hostages released the persons unharmed and surrendered to police after teargas flooded the house he was occupying.The standoff ended almost 7 hours after it began.
