| Omar Vega/San Francisco State University | NIGHTMARE: According to SFPD officials, at 2:58pm, a 20-year-old San Francisco State Student was trapped under an 80,000-pound K MUNI rail that slammed into her severing both her legs at Ocean and Miramar while crossing the street, and she was then rushed to San Francisco General Hospital where she is in serious but stable condition. SFPD officer Barbara Dullea picks up the victims shoes left under the K Muni rail Oct. 13, 2004 in San Francisco, CA. “This definitely should be a wake up call for students, whether they take public transit or private vehicles to school.
