June, 2020 [ recent winners ] << previous next >> First Place: "Major Fire" Sascha Fromm/Thueringer Allgemeine | Firefighters try to extinguish a major fire in a four-sided courtyard on June 18, 2020 in Witzleben, Germany. The barn and the neighboring building, a former cowshed, burned out completely. The firefighters were able to prevent the flames from spreading to the house, another building and the former milking house. The cause of the fire is still unclear, the damage to property is immense.
