The parade protested the pass interference and helmet to helmet hits that were not called in the Saints loss in the NFC Championship to the Los Angeles Rams that NFL later admitted should have been called. The parade was held on Super Bowl Sunday with some fans calling for a boycott and blackout of the broadcast of the game Sunday.
