First Place: "Taser Aimed At Protester"

| Matthew Hinton | A man has a taser aimed at him by Dillard University Police as he attempts to swing through a doorway and gain entry into a U.S. Senate election debate for Louisiana that included former KKK grand wizard David Duke at Dillard in New Orleans, La. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016. Fortunately for the other officers touching the man, the taser was not deployed and the police were able to get the crowd to move back with pepper spray. In one poll Duke polled high enough to be included in the debate much to the chagrin of Walter Kimbrough, the president of Dillard University which is a historically black university. Kimbrough claimed the TV company putting on the debate, WVUE Fox8, rigged the poll to include Duke in the debate however the university said it was obligated to honor the contract and allow the debate to take place.
