Bonita Springs firefighter Paul Phillips was remembered at Christ Community Church in Fort Myers and buried at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Tuesday. On Dec. 20 Phillips suffered fatal injuries after falling from a tree stand while hunting with his son in Charlotte County. He served as a training captain for the Bonita Springs station but his role had him interacting with firefighters across both Collier and Lee counties. Hundreds attended the service including dozens of fire departments and other first responders from Collier and Lee Counties, attending. He was 58. Copyright: Naples Daily News |
