Second Place: "the kiss"

| Melissa Lyttle/South Florida Sun-Sentinel | "We've been dating for four months, as of yesterday," said Andrea Penske as she finds the perfect opportunity alone backstage to share a kiss with boyfriend Josh Hernandez during the Mr. Western pageant. Hernandez was one of ten Western High School boys competing in swimsuit, formalwear, and talent competitions while vying for the Mr. Western title. The pageant was started in 1996 with the purpose of raising money for charities in the community. This year, all the money raised with be donated to the Leukemia Society in the name of Thomas Aguilar, a fellow student who was diagnosed with Leukemia earlier this year.
