January, 2014 [ recent winners ] << previous Third Place: "Firemen dinghy" Lyle Aspinall/Calgary Sun | Firemen carry a dinghy back to their truck after trying in vain to coax a pair of loose dogs at Edworthy Park in Calgary, Alta., on Wednesday January 8, 2014. Firemen were initially trying to get the dogs out of the Bow River, but the dogs saved themselves and then scampered away down the shoreline; it's not clear why they were loose or to whom they belonged.
