Michael Stevens's Message: This is update is a test of the export feature from PhotoShelter... a gallery of images from a past Phoenix Suns game.

I am currently shooting freelance work, mostly sports, but would be most pleased with full-time employment as a photographer. I have been shooting for close to 13 years now and within the last 6 or so years have made it a money-making endeavor.

I'm now employed by the Phoenix Suns' team photographer as his transmitter and I'm also shooting a few events like Arizona Rattlers games for him, filling in when he needs an extra shooter.

I also do freelance work for a small magazine called SportZine that covers and is distributed to high school & junior colleges in the Phoenix area. My images have been used for the cover since my first assignment with SportZine.

I currently work full time for a local wholesale printshop here in Phoenix but I'm lucky enough to have a schedule that's extremely flexible so my freelance work is rarely a problem. A day or two notice is usually enough but I can often just take off when necessary.

I shoot a Canon 1D.2 and a 1D with L lenses ranging from 16-300 mm. I have a couple 550EXs and ST-E2 as well as four Alien Bee monolights, Pocket Wizards, and umbrellas/softboxes so I can do some decent portrait/studio work as well.

Feel free to call or email any time with comments or potential work.

Recently, my little girl and best friend passed away. Visit to view a little tribute I made for her. Thanks.
