I am an Action News Photographer and have been shooting freelance photography full-time with the Los Angeles Daily News for the past 22 years. Additionally, my credits include photographs for the California Fire Photographers Association (18 years), as well as for Reuters, Corbis, Polaris Images, ZumaPress, AP and Atlaspress Photo.

My career has been fortunate as I have taken photographs of some of the major stories in Los Angeles from the 1990 Floods; 1992 Los Angeles riots; 1993 OJ Simpson chase;1993 Malibu fire storm; 1994 Northridge earthquake; and the 1997 North Hollywood shoot out. Additionally, photos on February 1, 2003, of the space shuttle Columbia re-entering over California -- minutes before breaking up over Texas; the Southern California fire storms of 2003, the first historical landings of two Mars rovers: Spirit and Opportunity at JPL. Historic flight of SpaceShipOne; La Conchita, California landslide 2005; Michael Jackson Trial 2005; STS-114 Space Shuttle Discovery Return to Flight; and Last of the Titan 4 rocket launches after 50 years of service.

I have been shooting digital for 8 years and am fully equipped with digital and transmitting capabilities via on-site location. I welcome traveling to cover any news or sporting event. Depending upon my availability, please feel free to contact me on a short notice basis.
