One of the opera performers putting on facepaint in preparation for the performance to celebrating an event for the Tua Pek Kong Temple on the evening of 22nd May 2005, on Pulau Ubin, Singapore. The opera stage on the small offshore island has only seen only a handful of uses a year as most of the residents have already been moved to mainland Singapore over the years.
