SAND DUNES at MESQUITE FLAT, DEATH VALLEY NATIONAL PARK -- Visitors stand atop the sand dunes at Mesquite Flat, approximately 44 miles northwest of Furnace Creek, in Death Valley National Park, Sunday, Nov. 17, 2002.
