Finally, an update.
I spent two weeks covering the University of Georgia and their run at the College World Series in Omaha. 15 days, two hotels, and countless steaks later, I'm back home. 15 days of games, practices, videos, galleries and multimedia.
I'd like to say a big "Thank You" to Nati at AP/Omaha and Matt Miller and the whole staff of the Omaha World Herald for all their help and insights as I never fathomed I would be covering such an event.
My biggest lesson/regret out of all of this is that there is always room for an extra body and remote equipment. There's always room.
