Sports Shooter Workshop & Luau 2003

There is still some spot available to attend THE coolest photography event of the year.

The Sports Shooter Workshop & Luau 2003 will be held Nov. 7 - 8 at the Manhattan Beach Marriott Hotel. Featured speakers include Deanne Fitzmaurice (San Francisco Chronicle), Vincent Laforet (New York Times), Jose Luis Villegas (Sacramento Bee) and Ben Van Hook (freelance photographer and documentary filmmaker).

An assortment of breakout classes are being offered with topics ranging from shooting sports (The Sports Shooter Jedi Master Series) to lighting to covering wars and conflict to digital photography to assembling a portfolio and editing to balancing your family life with work to photographing adventure sports. There are 15 different breakout classes on the schedule.

NEWS: The Workshop & Luau Sports Portfolio Competition was recently announced, as well as a partial list of participants in the event's trade show. Companies committed to attending the Workshop & Luau include Nikon, Samy's Camera, Mamiya, Hasselblad, Hoodman, Brooks institute of Photography and Epson.
