New Products From Lowepro

Lowepro recently announced the addition of the Linx and Metro Photo and Video Bag Collections to its extensive line of cases and bags.

The Linx laptop bags are designed for the "business traveler, urban warrior or student with a wide variety of styles and sizes." In chic, ergonomically correct comfort, these bags carry the professional laptop and accessories with hip, modern style. The Linx 240 shoulder-sling computer bag wraps around your body for comfort and security and carries a laptop and digital camera.

Both come with removable phone pouches. The Linx 330 backpack has a padded harness and sternum strap for stability. The Linx 430 is a larger briefcase bag with padded shoulder strap and handles. Carry your virtual office in the Linx 420 briefcase that holds a large laptop.

The Metro Collection camera pouches (MX 8, MX 8S, MX 10, MX 20, MX 25, MX 30) are compact and packed with features. The pouches are specially designed for digital cameras, with a soft-brushed tricot lining, gentle on LCD screens, in a zippered main compartment. To keep it all together, the pouches have Lowepro's SlipLock attachment tab that fastens to a Metro laptop computer case, your belt, purse or other compatible product. There are battery pockets, laminated mesh pockets for memory cards and an inner pocket for a PC or SmartMedia card. Available in four sizes.

"Our Metro Collection offers pouches and bags for carrying cameras and digital/video equipment in a great style that appeals to the high-tech warrior who wants sophistication, convenience, great functionality and total protection for their gear," says Nicole Mummenhoff, Lowepro Senior Vice President. "With a soft padded interior for delicate equipment and a modern exterior, these bags were designed for those with an eye for style."

The company also added the new Metro Collection laptop computer cases, including one backpack style. These four sizes are "a giant leap in style from the old way of carrying your essential laptop computer" according to a Lowpro release.

"Our new Metro laptop computer cases give the urban warrior a chance to put their stylish new laptops in a case as modern as the computer inside," says Doug Murdoch, Vice President, Design and Production. "And there is storage galore, secure padding to handle larger laptop screens and all the other gear you need to carry around from office to airport to car."

The Metro Collection laptop computer cases (MX 1000, MX 1100, MX 1200 and MX 1300) offer the style "savvy business traveler a carrier with a cool look, tons of organization and an incredible number of pockets for work and play accessories."

Lowepro also announced that it has added laptop computer bags -- in both briefcase and backpack style -- to its popular sleek steel gray/black Tech collection.
