Penn Camera's News and Notes

Nikon's $500 Instant rebate on D1H and D1X cameras will be extended until June 30th, as will the entire Lens rebate program. The new Nikon D100 was announced at PMA last month, and we hope to hear very soon about the final pricing and availability.

Canon, Ohhhhh Canon EOS1D's have been trickling in, s l o w l y. The new D60 (D30's replacement) should be in within the next few weeks, at a price of $2199....We're very excited for the arrival of the new Canon S9000 Printer, capable of prints up to 13x19", with 6 individual ink tanks to reduce waste, and 4x6" borderless prints in 378 seconds....a fantastic desktop printer at $499. They also have the S900 $399 and the S820D $399 coming as well. The S820D has a built in card reader, and with Canon's S30 or S40 digital cameras, linked via USB cable, you can make prints directly from the camera.
