Rick Rickman is the newest photographer to be featured in the Guest Gallery at Brad Mangin Photography, http://www.manginphotography.com

Rick Rickman is a photojournalist who has become obsessed with the wonders of aging. He grew up under the watchful eye of one of the greatest grandfathers ever to walk the face of the planet.

"I remember clearly as he grew older my grandfather became more and more interested in the things that he hadn't ever done before, while he continued to pursue all the things he loved. I spent as much time with my grandfather as I did with my parents partly because both my parents were teachers and worked a lot," says Rickman.

"My grandfather was totally engaged in life to the very day he died. I believe it was this experience that has made me so interested in seniors who continue to draw the most from their lives as they age. There's an amazing fascination in our society with famous persons. I find it interesting that there isn't more interest in the people over 60 who are doing such amazing things with their lives. I have worked on documenting these amazing seniors for four years now. My wife tells me that I really should try to hang out with persons my own age a little more. I personally feel like I'm much better because of the company I've been keeping," Rickman adds.

Rick's gallery contains 25 pictures, including 2 stories and many singles.
Rick joins an ever-growing list of photographers showcasing their work in the Mangin Photography Guest Gallery. Past exhibitors include: Eric Risberg, Russell Yip, Tom Gallagher, Bob Larson, Fred Larson, Karl Mondon, Jean Dixon, Michael Zagaris, Dino Vournas, Arleen Ng, Joe Gosen, Jim Gensheimer, Jose Luis Villegas, Meri Simon and Robert Hanashiro.
