Penn Camera's Thanksgiving Notes

By now many of you have received your new Canon D30 bodies and the feedback has been terrific! D30's have been in short supply, however, we do expect another shipment by month's end. The BG-ED3 Grips and extra batteries should also be here at the same time. Orders are being filled in the order they were received, and the list is much shorter now, so if you're looking for D30's by years end, call me or email me as soon as possible. The 420EX strobe that Canon released at the same time as D30's are in stock, a great new compact flash.

Nikon's D1 continues to fly out the door...They are now in stock for immediate delivery (at least as of this writing. Replacement EN4 Batteries are here on the shelf as well as most of the accessories related to the D1 ... Get ready for the cold weather with Nikon's Quick Charge MH17 DC Charger for the EN4, charge the battery while you drive! Have you seen the new 24-85 f2.8-4 D/AF, or 18-35 f3.5-4.5 D/AF lenses yet? Lexar has announced a series of CA$H rebates on their USB enabled Compact Flash Cards. The 8X Compact Flash cards have a $20 rebate on them, the 160mb 10X has a $50 rebate, the 256mb 10X a $100, and the NEW 320mb 12X Compact Card has a $150 rebate on it. In addition if you purchase a Nikon Coolpix 880 or 990 during the rebate period and one of the 8X cards, you'll receive an additional $20 per card. Lexar's Compact Flash Firewire reader now has a $20 mail in rebate on it as well. These rebates are valid through March 31, 2001.
