Larry Frank at LowePro tells Sports Shooter that the aforementioned Stealth Bag has been tweaked a bit so that both camera pockets can now easily fit all pro digital camera bodies.

Earlier in the year it was discovered that some photographers were having difficulties getting a DCS520 or 620 into the smaller of these two pockets.

"We made the change so both pockets are equal in size in the Stealth backpack, now that most or all digi shooters are carrying two cameras." Larry says, "When we first designed the backpack, most shooters only had one camera, so we made it for one. Times change and we must change with the times!"

Larry also passed along that LowePro's eager awaited over-the-shoulder versions of the Stealth backpack are now available just in time for the Sydney Olympic Games and the start of football season.

The Bagman got a peek at the new Stealths at PMA earlier this year, and for those digi-shooters who want a shoulder bag rather than a backpack, this is the real deal.

For pricing, check out the Penn Camera and Roberts Distrobutors articles below.

Sports Shooter will have a users report on the new Stealth shoulder bags in a later issue.

Hello from Indianapolis to all you Sports Shooter subscribers.

It was nice to see some of you in San Francisco and I trust I will see some more in St. Petersburg.

Let's make it short and sweet.

BIG NEWS: Fuji S-1 Pro cameras will start coming in about 10 days. It's been a long wait.

BUT the Kodak DCS330 is available NOW at a new reduced price of $2949.00. That's really the deal of the month.

Nikon D-1s are readily available.

Of course we are still waiting on Canon's digital body(s), but I am certain the wait will be worth it.
