Equipment News From Robert's Distributors
By Jody Grober

Hello sports shooters!

I trust you missed me during my one-month hiatus. Last month was just crazy in Indy. First we had three weeks of the Indy 500 with photographers galore and then came the Pacers going all the way to the NBA Finals. A big thanks to everyone that came in and said hello. It was great to see you all!

As usual the Kodak NBA Finals party was a great success (too bad the Pacers didn't do as well). Many thanks to Dave Davenport and Kodak!

I look forward to seeing many of you at the Sports Photographers Workshop in Colorado Springs. I will also be at the NPPA tradeshow in San Francisco the following week and I trust many of you will be there as well.

On to business

NIKON:
The new 14mm lenses are on their way, so call us up and get on the list.

No definite ETA on the 80-400 but we will let you know when we know.

D-1s are IN STOCK; gosh it feels good to say that. Our price is great and we have the 17-35s to go with them.

CANON:
We have plenty of EOS 1Vs and long IS glass to go with them. That's right, we have 500/4.0 IS lenses in stock and ready to ship.

SIGMA:
In addition to the EX lenses many of you have purchased we now have the new 50-500/4-6.3 EX APO AF lens. Inventory is limited.
