- And from Bruce Kwitny and Roberts Distributors: To all Sports Shooter readers: I would like to take this opportunity to wish each of you and your families the very best of Holiday Seasons. May you all enjoy much happiness, good health and prosperity in the New Year.

* Nikon News: A lot of new products have been introduced by Nikon this year but probably none have been more anticipated than the D1 Digital Camera. We have already delivered quite a few of them and so far the response has been nothing short of fantastic. They are, of course, in short supply. If you do not already have one on order you should expect a wait of at least 30 to 60 days. Please feel free to call anytime for more information and pricing. Other products introduced with the D1 include the new 17-35mm F2.8 AF-S lens and a new SB28-DX flash. Both may be used on the D1 as well as most other Nikon SLR cameras. Each is priced very attractively. Since the 17-35 lens came out priced at under $1500.00, we are offering the previous version...the 20-35mm F2.8 AF lens for only $995.00...for a limited time while supplies last. Please keep in mind that we also offer all of the supporting products such as Memory Cards, Spare Batteries, etc.

* Canon News: Canon rebates are set to expire on December 31, 1999 on the following items: EOS1n...$150.00 rebate. EF17-35/2.8, EF28-70mm/2.8, and EF70-200mm/2.8 lenses all have a $100.00 rebate.
