Photo Manager: The Upper Deck Company, LLC Job Description: Responsible for providing overall sport photo direction and strategic insight to photographers and vendors. Directly assigns games for field photographers including; credentials, strobes, hot lists, etc. Will work closely with outside vendors to supply 30%-50% of photography digitally. Will organize all large-scale photo shoots with photographers, leagues and Upper Deck staff and will oversee internal scheduling and provide guidance to staff. Will also be responsible for internal photo quality, quantity and deliverables.

Minimum job requirements include:
-*Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
*2+ years of management experience in photography, sports publishing or sports information in a fast paced environment.
*Knowledge of the trading card (or similar) industry a plus. Extensive sports knowledge (NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL, Motorsports).
*Strong oral and written communication skills.
*Excellent organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to handle multiple, high priority projects with a keen attention to detail.
*A skilled problem solver with the ability to apply creative thinking to business solutions.
*Professional demeanor; team player orientation; ability to interface with all levels in the organization.
*A hands on, energetic and motivated self-starter with the ability to perform duties/meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
*Proficiency in the following software packages: MS Word 6.0, MS Excel 5.0, MS PowerPoint 4.0, PhotoShop and Quark Xpress (a plus).
