Nikon and Canon Shooters: Get on The List at Samy's Camera

Get on the list now for the NEW Canon 1D Mark IV
THEEEEEE YANKEES WIN!

What a great World Series …when you thought the Phillies were goners, they pull out a win in game 5 forcing a game 6… And how many times have we seen that happen? As photographers covering the World Series and the NBA Finals say: If there's a game 5 there's bound to be a game 6.

Now we can move on to the NBA where the LA Lakers seem to have picked up where they left off last June. Winning! How long before Ron Artest melts down or becomes the distraction so-called sports experts predict? The thinking here is Kobe keeps Artest in check and the Lakers win another ring in June.

Now on to news from Samy's Camera for this issue…

The talk around the pro camera floor at our Fairfax store is that the Nikon - Canon War is back on. With the bookend announcement last month of Nikon's D3s and Canon's long-awaited 1D Mark IV --- it will be a battle of the high-speed/low light camera bodies.

Both feature HD video (Canon at 1080 and Nikon at 720) but photographers seem to be most impressed with the high ISO features of these cameras. If you want to get on The List for the Nikon D3s or the Canon 1D Mark IV, please give a Samy's industrial sales rep a call … and tell them you're a Sports Shooter reader!

Nikon also announced the highly anticipated replacement for their 70-200mm. Contact us to get on The List for the AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II.

With the start of the NBA season and college hoops just about to tip-off, call Samy's for all of your remote camera needs.
