Queen Latifah performs at the 2nd Annual BET Honors.
What an incredible kickoff to 2009, President Barack Obama's Inauguration in Washington, DC. Millions of people lined the streets here, it was quite the sight to see. Electricity was in the air...It was great to see so many of you at the White House Press Photographers Assoc Inaugural reception on Sunday night, and then seeing photographers covering every inch of real estate within the Inaugural Parade route. Congrats to all the photographers who archived history in the making!

I had the opportunity to shoot the annual BET Honors again this year which was held on Saturday evening prior to the Inauguration...Fantastic performances throughout the night. I really like this image...Queen Latifah singing her heart out.
