By Elbert Morris

Nikon 18-200 Zoom
Now that Baseball has started we can count on spring weather being with us for more than a day or two at a time. And how about Felipe Lopez of them Nationals, Grand slam in the 6th against the Mets.

I don't know about the rest of you but I can use a lot of warm weather. Locally, we have had a good run from our Pro Teams. The Capitals managed to get into the playoffs for the first time in years. The Wizards start with Cleveland for the third straight year. The Nationals we will skip a report on. Hopefully the Pope having Mass at the stadium will change their luck. Nothing like playing on blessed ground I hope.

Product News:

The Nikon D300 and D3 are both open stock now so if you are interested in either and want a SS special price on them you should give me a call at Penn Camera.

There is also a $300.00 instant rebate when you purchase a D300 Body and the Nikon 18-200 Zoom together through May 11th.

The only excitement from Nikon is the posting and then pulling the D3 firmware update. Now this has been rectified ( And a new Point & Shoot camera. Nikon just introduced a new model called the P80. It's a 10 MP camera with an 18X (27-486mm equiv) Zoom. It should retail for $399.99 when it is released in May.

The only camera news out of Canon this month is the fact that they will be increasing prices as of May 1st on Lenses and Accessories. Make your lens purchase before the 1st if you can.
