Penn Camera News and Specials for March
By Elbert Morris

Airport Airstream from Think Tank
I hope everyone has survived both the men's and women's NCAA tournaments and have not become too depressed with the NHL and NBA seeming to go on forever. Remember, baseball is starting at the end of March and all will be well with the universe at that time.

Camera News:
On the camera news front, there doesn't seem to be any earth shattering announcements in the near future so we will touch on what is current. The Nikon D300 is now open stock. Our list for the Nikon D3 is shrinking. NPS members can call for priority. The waiting list for the Canon 1DSMIII has improved also. Give us a call for SS prices and availability on these three cameras. Still no BL-3 end caps yet.

Video News:
On the video front there are some new video products coming from Canon in April. It looks like they are going into the Flash Memory storage system. The most interesting one is theVixia HF-10. Some of the features of this camera are an HD CMOS image sensor for full HD 1920x1080 image capture, Dual Flash Memory recording using 16GB of internal memory and removable SDHC cards, 24P Cinema Mode and 30P Progressive Mode, 3.3 Megapixel Full HD CMOS Sensor, and microphone terminal. An interesting accessory for this type of camera is a product made by Bogen. Its steady device for small camcorders called Modo Steady 585. It's a handheld camera-stabilizing device, which works with small cameras and offers weighted camera stabilizing or shoulder support balance for moving camera applications.

New Product:

Think Tank:

Well, that's it for this month so we will see you at the debut of the new Nationals Ball Park this spring.
