First off, HAPPY #100 Sports Shooter Newsletter!

Seems like just last week that Bert called and said, "Hey, I'm gonna do this newsletter thing about sports photographers, wanna write something?" I am very happy to say that Penn Camera & I have been part of from day one and the 1st issue!

Spring has sprung, and we're already into the NBA & NHL Playoffs, plus MLB is heating up here in the DC... With Gilbert Arenas & Caron Butler out, looks like it will be very tough for our Wizards against Lebron and the Cav's, but ya just never know now do ya?

In just a few weeks, Triple Crown season begins with the Run for the Roses at The Kentucky Derby. Make sure you're ready with plenty of OverXposed Platforms & Red Risers so you can mount your cameras close to the ground. Keep in mind to cover them with Think Tank's Remote Control 10 & 20. This cover will protect your cameras & lenses from the elements with space for a Pocket Wizard unit as well. Nothing like watching the water truck on the track spraying the dirt down, while you see your cameras exposed…The Remote Control covers are very inexpensive, and worth every penny.

Ok, Now some news ... As you all know, Canon's new flagship camera, the Mark III will be shipped "hopefully" in late May. Keep your fingers crossed. We expect the new 580EXII Speedlites and re-designed 16-35 2.8's as well. If you have not placed an order yet for any of these, call me now, the list is growing by the minute.

Think Tank Photo's new line of "Urban Disguise" cases is now in stock, make
sure to look a them all here:

A handy new product, the WalkStool. If you often work squatting, then the risk is great that in time you will suffer from backache, sore knees and joint problems, or you may already be suffering from these problems. Well, now there is a stool that can take care of the problem, WalkStool, small and light when you carry it but steady and comfortable when you sit on it. When working at low heights, sit on WalkStool without extending the telescopic legs! Telescopic legs make for two seat heights. A unique stool, invented and made in Sweden using the best materials and equipped with a high tech seat. Made especially for anyone forced to work often in uncomfortable positions. WalkStool's are available now in 22" H or 26" H models when fully extended.

How Cool, kinda like science class for your camera? Delkin's new SensorScope is here now! SensorScope enables you to check your sensor to see if it needs cleaning-there's nothing safer than not cleaning your sensor. The SensorScope looks like a camera lens; however, it allows you to look back into your camera to inspect your sensor. The SensorScope is easily portable and provides a 5x magnification lens and 4 ultra bright LED lights, which are focused to completely illuminate the field of inspection. Although specifically designed for Canon and Nikon DSLRs, the SensorScope may be used on any manufacturer's DSLR
Also from Delkin, a new 6-in-1 Express Card Adapter, so for all the Apple MacBook Pro users, here's a multi-card adapter for the Express Card slot.

Penn Camera is a stocking dealer for Canon & Sony Video cameras from low to high end. As you begin to make your decision on the world of Video, we're happy to answer your questions to help guide you through the process.
