- Norton's Bundle Announced.
Symantec announced March 1 that it is bundling its popular software titles Norton Utilities and Anti-Virus with Aladdin System's Spring Cleaning for $149 retail. The package will save buyers about $100 if the three titles were purchased separately. For more information on these software titles, go to Symantec's web site: http://www.symantec.com/us.index.html

- Virus Update.
For information on the "MacOS 8.5.1 Chooser Updater" Trojan Horse and the "666" virus (introduced into Macs through a file called "Graphics Accelerator"), check out the MacInTouch web site: http://www.Macintouch.com/.

MacAddict (http://www.macaddict.com/) recommends a freeware utility to rid your system of the "666" virus. Written by Joe Laffey, "The Exorcist" can be downloaded at:

- New DCS Acquire Plug-in Posted by Kodak.
The latest acquire module for Kodak's professional digital cameras, 5.6.3b, has been posted: http://webs.kodak.com
This plug-in fully supports the new Nikon-based DCS620 and now allows black & white display and acquire of images, which is enabled through the preferences control panel. It also has a tighter spacing of the thumbnails, but still has not gotten rid of those useless "slide mounts."
