In about 2 weeks, the crack of the bat will be heard from the US Capitol building to Georgetown ... Major League Baseball is upon us for the 1st time in 34 years...I'd be giving away my age if I told you that I was at the last Senators game... I'm thrilled to be attending the home opener on the 14th...

Let's talk TT....No, not Audi TT, but TT as in Think Tank For all of you that have been asleep for the past few months, and not been reading the message board, the NEW Think Tank Photo products have been getting some incredible reviews. From the amazing Pixel Pocket Rocket, a fold up CF Card carry case that holds 10 cards, to the much sought after Airport Addicted Backpack, Penn Camera has them all! Many of you have been seeking the Airport Addicted, and I just checked the stock levels, and YES, we do have some still in stock! FREE Shipping on all Think Tank products for members!!

OK, so what else is happening in the world of gear....

Nikon's new flagship camera the D2X has been coming in and flying out the door...D2HS cameras hit the shelves as well this week!!! A cool addition to your new D2X or D2HS, try out the WT-2A Wireless transmitter... If you're still on someone's "list", you should call me, I just may be able to get a D2X in your hands pretty quickly...(all depending on stock on-hand). Nikon's new rebate program began today, April 1st...Many lenses and bodies are included....Be sure to check with me 1st ! Nikon glass, SB800's, and many of those hard to find accessories are in stock...

Looks as if within the next few weeks, we'll all be hearing more about the new Nikon D50 and D70s cameras ... Stay tuned!

Canon's new Rebel XT has arrived in both the Silver & Black bodies, as well as in Kit form with the 18-55 or 17-85 EFS lens... The ever popular EOS1D-II's are in stock, and the EOS1D-IIS bodies are trickling in too! Canon's new WFT-E1 Wireless file transmitters are here....Just think, shoot an image, and within seconds, it's on your laptop, ready to transmit to your editors back in the office... The WFT-E1 will transmit from the EOS1D-II, EOS1D-IIS and the EOS20D cameras.

Lexar Stackable CF Card Reader
Canon and Penn Camera are proud to invite you to spend an evening with Monte Zucker & Clay Blackmore, the "Explorers of Light" seminar. Thursday May 12, 2005 from 6pm to 10pm at the Tyson's Westpark Best Western Hotel, 8401 Westpark Dr, McLean, VA. Tickets are $35 in advance....Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-347-5770. For more info, see the "Events" button on

As the chips grow, and the pixels multiply, you will find that the 512mb Card you've been using for a few years just doesn't cut it any longer... Then when you throw in the 1GB card, and set the camera to RAW, your jaw drops when you see the frame counter in the double digits, and not triple digits... What does all this mean??? What to do? Start to think 2GB, 4GB & 8GB cards!!! Lexar 80X Cards are in stock now for immediate shipment... Call me for all the latest pricing!!!

Coming very soon from Lexar ... the new Stackable CF Card Reader, designed to allow you to simultaneously download 4 CF cards at one time...This will be terrific for big events where you are receiving cards from many shooters at once ... I hope to have more info in the next few weeks on pricing as well as delivery.

Thanks as always to all the loyal Sports Shooter readers throughout the world ...
