There is still some room in THE coolest photography event of the year, the Sports Shooter Workshop & Luau 2003. Over 400 people have registered for this year's event, but space is running out and a few breakouts have reached capacity.

Hosted at the Manhattan Beach Marriott Hotel on Nov. 7 - 8, the event's featured speakers include: Deanne Fitzmaurice of the San Francisco Chronicle, Jose Luis Villegas, of the Sacramento Bee, Ben Van Hook, Pulitzer winner and documentary film make and the New York Times' Vincent Laforet.

Other activites include a one-on-one portfolio reviews, a mail-in sports portfolio competition, a trade show and the first annual Sports Shooter / Nikon Student Shoot Out (Oooops! Did I just let that slip??? Patience … details to come.)
