Swimming help for State Meet Saturday?
Rick Sullivan, Photographer

->> I am new here and think this is the most helpful site. My shots have grown exponentionally better since studying these boards. I have a chance to shoot a friend for his high school annual tomorrow at the Tn. State Swimming Championships at the Sportsplex in Nashville. Any advice? Polarizer? Flash? I shoot a Fuji s2pro. I have all Nikkor lenses. 50/1.8. 17-35/2.8, 70-200 afs vf 2.8, 85/1.4, and 300/2.8. Anything better than the other? He will be in the semis and probably in the breaststroke finals. Thanks for any advice.

->> Rick,
I don't shoot swimming very often, but there is one bit of advice I can give you that could be helpful. Keep your gear warm. If your lenses are cold from being in the trunk of your car or the like, chances are they will fog up real bad when you hit the warmth and humidity of the swimming area. First time I did swimming in the winter, my lenses fogged on the inside and it wasn't fun trying to get them dried out in time for the shoot.
