->> I have been asked to print on site 5x7 prints for a small event (proabably no more than 100 prints). Anyone have good experience renting a printer that can produce 5x7 prints?

->> Approach your city's biggest camera store that you deal with that sells printers. They're sure to have a display model that they use to print examples to show potential buyers. Make a rental suggestion offer. You need 100 5x7s which is a 50-sheet box of 8x10 or 8.5x11 paper. Buy two boxes as you're sure to have to make tests and reprint mistakes, plus extra for the ink, plus more for the rental.

You may get to the point of just buying a small printer for this and future uses. Epson has a printer that does up to 8.5x14 for $120 at Adorama.

->> Why not buy one and charge it accordingly? Can get a good one for a hundred. But you'll need to buy more paper.
