->> A few years ago I took over a Word Press web site for a client. No issues changing content and functionality but am stumped on how to access the file folder that contains their logo (which they want changed). I have the url but I can find how to access it through the admin site.

Shoot me an email if you think you can help. kevin@kevinkrows.com

->> This group seems to be active and they can give you help https://www.meetup.com/peoriawp/ whereas this may have gone dormant https://www.meetup.com/wordpressdownstate/

It may be as simple as going into your dashboard to media > library or FTP'ing into the site and find the WP-Content folder and then the images folder.

Right click on the old logo and it will give you the path as to where it rests.

->> You shouldn't need to access the old logo to replace it. Just upload the new one through the web admin and the site will use the new one.

->> Sometimes the "logo" is added as a header image and you change that by going to Appearance - Customize - header image and then change it there.

The logo is located here:

Some folders are to be seen as "system folders", and they cant be accessed thru the Admin interface.
The only way to access them is thru using a FTP client.
(That includes the /images folder).
