Trump presidential portrait made with a 10-year-old DSLR
Robert Hanashiro, Photographer
Los Angeles | CA | | Posted: 5:44 PM on 01.31.17
->> A 10-year-old 1Ds Mark III.
Shot available light.
ISO 640 @ 1/320 at f/2.8 (wow!)
And it looks like the background is either a projection or on bad cut & paste job.

->> Interesting analysis. I do believe it's a projection. The extraction would have lost the stray hairs at f/2.8 and they all appear to be intact.

->> If you look at the official photo for Mike Pence it's the same, except the White House moved, flag didn't. Also looking close at the cheek for Trump you can see a green line down the side, which made me think green screen instead, though won't even pretend to know for sure. There also is a light that seems to be set up below, octagon shape reflects in his eyes, just odd set up. Whole looking down thing is his schtick, old businessman maneuver to force others to look up at you.

->> either way, the WH clearly isn't interested in quality in their photography, which is really too bad, especially after Pete broke through seemingly all previous barriers in getting the most amazing access to the highest office in the land... Damn shame, I say...
