->> Considering how the press is being treated in so many venues we are in a major backlash against the media.

Just think of how Getty came in years ago and kicked so many out of the sports events.

Think of how musicians kicked us out of most concerts except for just a song or two.

I understand how those doing illegal actions don't want you around, but I am really struggling with the masses not wanting a media to keep them informed.

"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be." -- Thomas Jefferson

What is interesting is that late night TV has often gone on the street to ask questions of the public. Things like who is the Vice President and names of the states.

This is from article on Ignorant America:
"Anecdotal evidence suggested for years that Americans were not particularly well-informed. As foreign visitors long ago observed, Americans are vastly inferior in their knowledge of world geography compared with Europeans. (The old joke is that "War is God's way of teaching Americans geography.")"

I just cannot wrap my head around this hatred and ignorance I am seeing in much of America.
