1DX2 Sensor Cleaning

->> There is a thread on both Fred Miranda and DPR about the Canon 1DX2 sensor cover being much more delicate then the 1DX and is more prone to scratching when cleaned. Just wondering if people have cleaned their 1DX2's yet and if so did they run into issues?

I use the Visible Dust kit for my 1DX but after reading the threads am a little hesitant to use it on my 1DX2.

I'm a CPS Gold member and can use the clean+check but would prefer not to have to pack up my 1DX2 and send it to NJ just to clean the sensor.

->> Greg - I only use a Rocket Blower and leave the real cleaning to CPS. I shoot very shallow depths of field so sensor spots generally don't appear unless the blue sky is in the picture. My membership with CPS allows me enough clean and checks to send my bodies in twice a year.

Before I send them in, I do shoot a f18 shot on a blue sky for reference. When I get the camera back, I do another f18 shot and compare the files. If the sensor isn't cleaned then I goes back to CPS along with pictures of both files. I have to do this from time to time and CPS always takes good care of me.
